Feature Proposal: AI Integration & MCP Server for TeamDesk
I've been a loyal TeamDesk user since 2017, implementing it across every company I've worked with — it remains my go-to platform for its powerful formulas, reliability, and excellent AI-assisted design features.
As AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT become essential business tools, I'd love to see TeamDesk offer an official MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and enhanced API capabilities for seamless AI integration.
Key suggestions include: enriched metadata endpoints for better AI understanding, a Natural Language Query API exposing the existing AI Data Analysis via REST, realtime data streaming (SSE/WebSocket), and an Actions API to trigger workflows programmatically.
I've prepared a detailed proposal document comparing TeamDesk with platforms like Supabase and Budibase — happy to share it with the product team. These enhancements would position TeamDesk as the leading AI-ready no-code database platform.
