| Celebrating 10 years of working with Foresoft | | My name is Patricio Bustos, I am the COO of Belltech (www.belltech.la), I am Chilean and live in Colombia. In October 2014, due to a particular need that my company had in a project, we found Teamdesk, literally googling on the internet. Our need was to be able to develop a customized ticket system for the support and operational continuity of an important Latin American airline based in Colombia and El Salvador. From the beginning, we were struck by the flexibility of the tool, where someone with little technical knowledge and rather understanding the business needs could develop data applications that solve important needs in the B2B and B2C world. With the success of that first project for our company, we took the Teamdesk tool as a base to manage all the applications required by the services area at Belltech, today in the 8 countries where we have a presence, from our ticket system for our clients, the internal management of our collaborators such as overtime registration and expense reports, and later all the data analysis that we can perform on these tasks. Currently, Teamdesk for Belltech provides these services for 410 collaborators in 8 countries (Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Ecuador). Over time, we saw that our clients also had needs like ours and we were sure that Teamdesk could be a great tool for developing data applications. That's how we met dbFlex. The same tool as Teamdesk but that gives us the opportunity to resell our knowledge and develop data applications. We currently manage nearly 20 clients in Latin America who enjoy the services and benefits of Foresoft, using a tool with world-class uptime and support, along with the support and service that we as Belltech offer. The data applications that we have developed are very diverse, mainly focused on applications in the financial sector, alarm management for ATM networks, appointment scheduling systems, monitoring systems, reporting for Call Centers and much more. At the beginning, our fear was to know if Foresoft was a serious company, with high quality standards and with a technical capacity that would allow us to ensure the operational continuity that Belltech and its clients need. I read a lot in forums and in the community where many told their experiences of working with Foresoft. And as you can understand, we were not wrong. We celebrate our first 10 years of working together, where we have the support of a great company, a great platform and above all a highly knowledgeable technical team that provides us with continuous and high quality support (Slava, Krill, Evgen, are the best, and the whole team by the way). A while ago I was reading with sadness on the forum a girl who complained why she had not received an answer within 10 minutes to a question about a technical problem she had and said that she had to raise her voice to be heard. Although Foresoft does not handle SLAs, its response times in dealing with emergencies and critical situations are world class. Our clients in general are from the financial segment, and therefore periodically require security tests (called PenTest - Penetration Test), and I must say that Foresoft (Teamdesk and dbFlex) meets 100% of the security standards that the technology industry requires today worldwide. Belltech, as a technology solutions integrator, has a very close relationship with its business partners, and we are in constant contact with them. We did not want it to be any different with Foresoft, despite being a 100% Cloud company. And so, a couple of months ago, I personally contacted its CEO Val Karmazin to see if we could have a face-to-face meeting in Chicago, USA (Foresoft's base) to get to know each other and have a meeting as partners. Val very kindly accepted our proposal, so I took a plane from Santiago de Chile to Atlanta USA and then to Chicago USA, and after a 16-hour flight I arrived in Chicago to meet our Partner Foresoft. Val received us at the hotel where I stayed and the first visit was to visit their Datacenter. I was surprised by the level of security they manage, from access to the facilities themselves and the high availability they manage in every sense: connectivity, energy, etc. Once we were able to log in, Val showed me the HW infrastructure with which they provide the Teamdesk and dbFlex services, what each of the machines does and how it interacts with other services. I was really impressed. Then we talked about Foresoft's business, the number of clients they have worldwide, and we talked about the complex situation in Ukraine (where many of the technical team's collaborators come from), how the idea of creating this company was born, and the first services they provided (bugtrack.net). Val very kindly gave me a tour of Chicago and its main attractions. As a good Chilean, I brought Val a bottle of wine, I hope he enjoyed it :). One of the things we talked about with Val was trying to do some workshops among the community. I think it would be good to make use cases known so that as a community we can share technical knowledge that allows us all to improve our platforms, and of course, generate more business among all of us. If anyone wants to contact me and join in setting up something more formal with the friends at Foresoft, I'll leave you my details. bustos.patricio@icloud.com +57 315 4349236
