Right now, when views are grouped by multiple columns, each group is presented in the same way, regardless of how many sub-groups. For example, if the view is grouped first by vehicle type and then by color, it would look like this:
Group 1: Cars-Red Group 2: Cars-Green Group 3: Cars-Blue Group 4: Trucks-Red Group 5: Trucks-Green Group 6: Trucks-Blue Group 7: Motorcycles-Red Group 8: Motorcycles-Green Group 9: Motorcycles-Blue
I think the groupings would present more intuitively to the user if the sub-groups were indented or otherwise clearly shown as the next level of grouping. Something like this:
Parent Group 1: Cars [Indent] Sub Group 1a: Red Cars [Indent] Sub Group 1b: Green Cars [Indent] Sub Group 1c: Blue Cars Parent Group 2: Trucks ...
And as on.

Yes, the indent function at the parent level that would also include an option to summarize totals, minimums, maximums, and averages.

It would also be nice to be able to open and close the groups like in a filebrowser.
