Transpose Data View
There are times when all the data required is in a single record (row) and some of the data that is in columns needs to be shown in rows and grouped by other data. Such as a set of summary KPIs that are calculated from previous records in rolling 4 week, 13 week and 52 week summaries using the many to many function on the same table. We should be able to Name the Rows and select the data that needs to be presented in the columns so that we can build a view of the data in a table that is more flexible.

I was able to accomplish this within a Document but I lost the ability to highlight cells based on values presented row by row.

I call this a Transpose Data View.

This is also a solution that I have on my list of desired features. Both KPI, along with use cases like Construction Phase Budgets.

Phase Budget example

- Each Project has a budget, which goes through several phase reviews and revisions.

- Each Budget is broken out by cost code groups and sub codes

Desired ability:
View budget child table by project and see listing of cost codes, with Phases as columns

Rows: cost code
Columns: Phase n, Phase n+1…. Final
