Image Upload Dynamic Filenames
Can we have the ability to dynamically alter an image or file's, filename name as an option? That can use a column as the source of the info?
e.g. JPG Uploaded with filename "indeciperhanlegarbagefilename.jpg"

e.g. Column [ImageFilename] = Concat([ID],"-ProductImage").jpg...

So as an option, file could be uploaded as.... 000234-ProductImage.jpg

I imagine it would have to have an iteration at the end for revisions... e.g. 000234-ProductImage-2.jpg

As Christmas is approaching, I'am adding full of hope:
- a function returning the filename - without having to type the present and complex extraction formula
- a function returning the filesize

Kind regards,

Pierre

Thanks
The working-with-formulas is full of great ideas; I am happy to have looked into it again.

@Slava I might be a little slow today, being end of week, but I am having trouble understanding how to implement the ability to rename the file uploaded based off of your links to “URL to the File”

If my goal was to rename “Scan-0019274.pdf” to concat ““Field1”_”Field4”_”Field7”.pdf” is that possible?

If so, can you give an old man some more guidance?

@Parker you can't change the file name after uploading, but you may create a formula-URL column which will override the file name when downloading the file from the system.

thank you very much! Gotch, I see what you’re talking about now. I appreciate it.
