Subcategories / subtotals in TeamDesk Document Tables

Dear All

I believe most of us have faced the subcategory / subtotals in TeamDesk Document Tables, ie:
- When you generate a document with TeamDesk
- When your document displays the data of a record + the data of a subtable records using a table,
- Sometimes you want to display extra lines which have the role of category headers, possibly using subtotals.

Would anybody have ideas on how to do this with TeamDesk ? (I don't)

	basenine 6/23/2023 4:36:40 AM I’m not 100% certain I’m following you here… But perhaps create another manytomany relationship with match conditions with just the day from the child record field(s) you need??? I’ve had to do that in the past to create the document I need I’d need more information to really garner what you’re trying to do though, to be honest
	Scott Miller 6/23/2023 4:44:09 AM Weirdly enough I'm working on a Quote which has this functionality. The Items for the Quote are grouped which in you example would be activity type. As Brett says im using a many-to-many relationship to create multiple details views (which are hidden using form behaviour). The biggest issue I have is needing a separate many-to-many relationships to cover the max number of groups (activity types for you). There is probably a more elegant/efficient method than this. I'd post a pix but I can't within a comment :-(
	basenine 6/23/2023 5:04:49 AM I did something recently for a client of a client in the US…. I don’t have access to that now but it ended up being super effective. We had to show a group of subtotal weights and costs… I’ll try and dig out a video I made from a zoom call or some screenshots and send them through. Can you post an email address in here Pierre?
