Alternative Label on Mobile App
Hi Team!
It would be very useful to be able to place the ALTERNATIVE LABEL in the mobile application.
Can you evaluate this change?

and in the views

Agree with Pierre: just as much needed on the Views - it's very confusing for Users if we display an Alternative Label on the Form and then they cannot find on the view any Column called by the same Label!
The 'Alternative Label' should be a feature of the Column, not of the Form. Just like we can change the 'Alternate Name' of the Details table in a Relation.

Totally agree. especially: The 'Alternative Label' should be a feature of the Column, not of the Form

Alternative labels would also be nice for documents

@Pierre I guess, you can alter auto generated labels in the document template already.

@Slava
The filename generation feature is great.
I would love to have a button-label generation feature (If it exists I do not know how to do it)

a document-button-label generation feature

@Pierre I was under the impression that idea about alternative COLUMN label:

@Slava
I was not clear - I would like to have more freedom in naming the buttons used to generate a document:
https://my.datatailor.net/secure/db/76088/res.aspx/Screenshot%202021-03-16%20at%2010.35.53.png

Today the name on a button is the name of the document definition.
Hence you cannot have two buttons with the same name.
You would need that in the following situation:
- You want to generate invoices
- You have two (or more) invoice templates (2 languages x 2 detail levels ...)
According to the customer situation you want a button calling for the correct document.
