Text Markup Makeover / Directly paste images
The current 'markup' in text is quite basic/dated.

Compared to modern tools, the text should display exactly as the user intends whilst hiding the markup.

In addition, modern tools allow to paste images directly into text areas (they are stored somewhere in the system)

I attach an example from Atlassian Confluence tool.

Would be a big improvement if such ideas could be incorporated into TeamDesk in future

Also, useful would be that markup is preserved in formula-text fields. I raised another ticket for this a few years ago.

This is a big yes from me. You can make a wiki-like Documentation tab, but if you want to easily include screenshots, it's a different matter. I've tried to make image processing easier for user-authors, and that's the biggest stumbling block to better adoption. They tend to stop using the "Documents" tab mostly due to the image processing being unwieldy (upload your images in this OTHER tab, copy the markdown link, paste into the doc you're authoring...), and end up gravitating toward other tools like Google Drive or (gasp!) Microsoft Word.

The markup is basic, but good enough in my opinion, but I really want to see better image processing like you have with Github, Stack Overflow and the like - drag and drop or paste, and Teamdesk just saves the images to some table.

(I have to say though, that some of the editors these days are indeed really sexy - like, the commercial Notion or what is being built in headless CMSs like Contentful or Strapi.)
