agreed. I asked this to support a few months back. Their response was "currently TeamDesk doesn't have this functionality".

An attempt to open new tab/window programmatically (without direct user interaction) will be likely stopped by browser's popup blocker which is nowadays turned on by default.

Yet the ability is available on Formula URL and URL column types This works well...when you let it 😉

@Brett the key here is direct user interaction - user click on the link and browser do the job. It's not the same in case of Navigate URL action.

I'm pretty sure you can accomplish this with a Formula-XHTML column. `<a target='_blank' href='my.new.url'>`
