My idea is to add an extra option in the "Based on" question in the Calendar View, so that the calendar will display a "Working week" (Monday to Friday) as well as the "Currentl week" (Monday to Sunday) option.

We've added a "Work Week" option for the Calendar view, allowing you to display only working days in the week view.
