I would also like to see something where the result of a validation is a warning as opposed to a full error.
So for example a user enters a new Contact into a Contact table. The system finds that a Contact with the same name already exists and BEFORE saving the record puts up a warning. User can then choose whether to continue or cancel.
I am aware that there are ways that this can be worked around with from behavior but a) it is not always obvious to the user b) it is not effective as a pop up but most importantly c) every behavior rule added to the form slows it down just that little bit and at some stage the form is no longer useable.
