I know that this has come up mixed into other ideas, but I now see it as meriting an idea of it's own.
I would like to be able to see the ability to group rows in x-tabs to a number of levels, say three like in other places, and then show sub totals for those groupings.
As an example I use a x-tab to display cashflow from record data by month across the top and by item on the left. In order to get some sort of ordering I have prefixed each inflow with "In/ ..." and each outflow with "Out/ .....". However the absence of a subtotal for all the Ins and for all the Outs is glaring absence.
I could work around this by having two x-tabs in one dashboard, however the date columns between the two won't necessarily line up and so tis is visually unpleasant.
Could this please be considered as an addition.
Thanks

I'd also like the option to not have totals by row/column. Ie to be able to specify NOT to report the total by row, or the total by column - as often these are irrelevant.
Thanks, Rebecca

I agree with Rebecca's addition and note that this too was already asked for elsewhere.

@Staff: on bended knee I ask you to consider this one.
Thanks

Still really keen for this one. I am looking at x-tab views which are just meaningless without it.
