When selecting a record from a different table in the record picker view (for instance, let's say you are preparing a quote & you want to select a contact from a list of customers), there is the option to select a customer or to create a new one if necessary. It would be really nice to add an "Edit" button to the record picker to have the option to modify an existing contact right then & there, as opposed to having to go to the corresponding table to edit the info. That would save time.
