Multi-Select Custom Button (# of Records Selected Counter)
Example: If I want to allocate multiple records through a series of workflow processes (editable columns on button execution), I would like to see the number of records selected in some form of header or system column field in the edit form. ie. "10 records selected".

This is required to balance the number of records selected with for example, the actual physical goods/services each record represents to ensure the correct amount of records will be assigned the editable column values on Save.

If this work is being done anyway, then I would like to see a subtotal of an numeric fields in the selected records as this is an equally balancing check

@Werner we've added number of selected records to the form header.

Slava

I can't see where this is appearing. Can you show me an example?

Thanks

@Philipp please open any view with multi-record custom button, select few records and press the button.
On the next screen you'll see form header with button name with "(NNN records)" text after it.

OK. What I was looking out for was a dynamically updated number on the view as I selected the records, which is what I had thought this was about. Going back to Werner's original request, I see that I misread it.

Maybe my idea is a good one anyway.

Thanks
