It would be useful to know whether NEW was pressed - from the top lef of the screen - from the top of a view - from the top of a sub tab - from a record picker (especially this one)
as I would like to have slightly different defaults in the form in each case.
Based on a recent question raised by me there is no way of knowing, so perhaps you want toi take it on as an idea
