Horizontal display of radio buttons and checkboxes on a form

When the option to display a text column as check boxes or radio buttons has been selected, it would be nice if one could also choose whether these should be listed horizontally or vertically on the screen. Some of my forms with approx. 8 possible entries are looking quite clunky with the current method of vertical displays.

Or another possibility would be that the width of the column in which they are to be displayed drives this. For example if a column has a width of four and there are 7 possible entries for that column, then this would be two rows, with 4 options in the first and 3 options in the second.

	basenine 10/10/2019 5:43:08 PM Adding the ability to use: class = fs-checklist fs-columns-4 class = fs-checklist fs-columns-3 class = fs-checklist fs-columns-2 class = fs-checklist fs-columns-1 This will split the checklist into columns (like the Workspaces or Views Access in setup uses) Simply selecting from a drop list (Display Column #) in the Setup of the Field would add the field to a class type.
	basenine 10/10/2019 5:48:08 PM BTW...I've tested this approach with Inspect Element and can confirm it works (and is responsive to page widths too). Obviously can't get it to hold on page refresh though...to get it to hold would require the field type class to be changed either via .js or by implementation by TD

	Robert Gustavsson 12/2/2020 2:00:57 AM Thanks, that is a useful feature. It would be nice if you could put the caption a little closer to the checkbox/radio, or separate the choices, because now, on the same row, it's a little difficult to see what box belongs to what choice.
