Two factor authentication
Just wondering if anyone has been able to implement a satisfactory two factor authentication method such as code by text message, phone call or other?

Thanks everyone.

Was looking for something similar, posted an idea for One Time Pins via text for logins as an additional security feature under the Idea Exchange

Any update on this? I have a potential client for whom MFA is a deal-breaker given the sensitivity of the data they plan to manage with TeamDesk.
Is there a third-party solution that could be implemented with TeamDesk?

Nevermind. There seem to be many apps in the market that offer MFA and TFA for accessing websites.

@All As for now, MFA can be implemented via Single Sign-on.
TeamDesk Enterprise Edition supports SAML 2.0 as an SSO Protocol:

Most web facing applications now offer this as standard. It is fast becoming mandated security for any personal data storage. Perhaps time to think on this as an urgent project. I have many customers that will be deterred by a site without it on offer. SSO is not really the right answer in many cases.

I just posted this as a New Idea. Please give it your support. I agree that it is unconscionable that it is not part of this database.

Highly recommended nowadays to have two-factor authentication. Either by app or sms.
Wondering teamdesk is not providing such a standard security measure.

Although it's lesser in terms of security compared to full MFA (like a TOTP code from an app), so-called "passwordless" options would also be useful, especially for large user bases with users who are not so tech savvy. For example, log in via a magic link sent to your email, or, have some kind of PIN code sent to your email which you then enter into the login screen.

Has there been any progress on this topic? Has anyone in the TeamDesk Forum implemented TFA or MFA in any shape to give users safer access to a non-Enterprise-Edition database???
I have a client requesting this because they are a non-profit that use TD for tracking donations, but they are too small to purchase Enterprise Edition licenses.
