Formatting of fileds in views
I propose to give more possibilities to format values in views.
- field caption
- font (normal, bold, italic, bold italic)
- color of text
- alignment of value (left, center, right)
- display without wrapping or not

This options linked to view (not to field like now option bold and wrap), because in different situation user need to see other formatting.

Now I decide this task via many formula field - different names, bold or not, or by XTMHL type. My tables have too many non-real fields.

See also ID 789 raised by me. Seems to overlap

Ignore previous comment about ID 789. I added it to the wrong case

However I do know that there are cases similar to this one in the system also.

This is a great idea that needs to be explored deeper. The fact is that if views have a mixture of 'Display without Wrapping" (i.e. some columns are some columns are not), the view is messy. Being able to easily update all fields to either one or the other to give consistency in that view would make it so much easier.

It should be a checkbox in the View that says "Display Columns without Wrapping"....one time checkbox rather than going through each column to check/uncheck.

And as Anatoliy explains, creating non-fields for just this purpose goes against what TD is about - creating efficiencies in work flows
