I like the fact that this feature was added, i hope they do not remove it, as it has greatly increased data input speed without much mouse involvement.

However i do agree that the option to turn it on/off will provide greater flexibility to your users.

I like the feature as well Ricky. Don't get me wrong 😃

Some of my customers have found it a bit annoying and in most cases, when it's just one line that is being added, it's actually now an extra mouse click

auto generate new line in some instances is not ideal and also see benefit to toggle on/off at user level or globally

I agree with basenine. When just adding one extra line it does require an extra mouse click. One of our users loves it, but it is not required in all cases. Being able to turn it off would be great.

Until saved, "new line" is present on screen only - it does not generate new record in the database and can be safely ignored - also, there is no need to press Cancel button, you can simply navigate away from the page.
