Could we have an "Active" or an "Enabled" field on Custom Buttons just like already exists for Triggers and Validation Rules

yep - a year goes by and someone else thinks this is actually a great idea 😃 This surely would be easy to implement. Currently we either have to delete the button or uncheck all the User Roles/Views access

My workaround is that I put 1=0, which is of course always false, into the filter. That way I can keep all of the other settings including which roles have access. It works, but it is not elegant.

@philipp You can actually just type false into the custom formula too. Or use the new ‘Hidden’ function....still, an enabled/disabled function would be better

Hi Brett, in fairness I posted this idea 5 years ago and I think what you suggest has been implemented since then.
@Staff, I think you can mark this one as being implemented via the Hidden option.
