@Robert please create separate views for that - we've no plans to allow end-user to choose start/end dates. Consider promoting/commenting Allow users to create and save new views idea.

To clarify, what I was refering to by "user column" was not the end-user. I was refering to a User[column] to be picked in setup as the condition for start or end of timeline.

@Robert as a workaround, please try to create a formula-date column and use User[column] as a value of formula property.

But start/end dates of timelines can't be picked from any type of columns, can they?
Slava Shinderov Staff 6/3/2014 3:31:23 AM
@Robert you can use any date/timestamp/formula-date/formula-timestamp column from table.

The timelime start/end dates dropdowns are only showing the following options (and none of my timestamp columns): Automatic/Current Month/Next Month/Previous Month/Specific Date.

@Robert I see now what you're talking about. Initially I was thinking you're talking about "Start/End Column" property values.
