I love the new tiles view - it's an easy setup and easy on the eye.
One thing I'd like is a dedicated column for Photo Id (rather than using the File Upload column type) and for the Photo Image section in the View to be set to a default image - like they do with Facebook when no profile image has been set... Maybe the image could change based on a formula too: for example, "male" selected changes the default image to show a stereotyped male image.
The reason for this enhancement - when you have a group of tiles and an image is not set on a few, the written columns move to the left. Having a placeholder would give the tiles consistency in appearance.
I know I could create my own generic columns to do all of this - only you can't have a default calculation on a File Upload column - but how about making it a little bit simpler by just checking a box in the View setup to show (or not show) the Image Placeholder. Or a droplist to choose whether the image is a Photo Id or a Parts Photo for an Item/Material.

Another nice feature would be to just "Press" the tile to view it rather than show the "View" button
