Summary/Crosstab value display format
We are planning to extend Summary and Crosstab views with options to specify the format of the calculated value. These options would be applicable only for Totals and # of Records calculations - for other functions they seem have no sense.

For summary view you'll be able to select either:
1. Normal value
2. As percentage of column's total
3. As running total by the column

For crosstabs:
1. Normal value
2. As percentage of column's total
3. As percentage of row's total
4. As running total by the column
5. As running total by the row

This would give us greater flexibility, so a big +1 from me, Kirill. We saw that we can use a stacked-to-100% graph to achieve a similar result, showing say, billable hours per month for a group of staff. Instead of the actual, we wanted to see a percent in our crosstab, and the graph let us do that.

But having it in summaries and crosstabs would be great. Thanks for considering this.

hi Kirill - any movement on this? I was just thinking about this, wishing I could have a simple crosstab of people vs specific task-oriented goals. I want to have a matrix that lets me see a text/color COMPLETE or other status, inside the grid.

While adressing this it would be useful to have an option whether whether vertical and or horizontal totals of the colums should be displayed or not

I would like to display a column of data as a percent of the column total in cross tab reports.

See the attached image of one implementation. {93}

Not sure if this is the right forum, but it would also be useful if rows could be grouped in up to three levels with subtotals for each level, like Table Views

Hi everyone. I was wondering if it is possible to add a new calculation to the existing ones (Totals, Average # of Records, ...): a formula based on other columns. For example: Column A = Column B / Column C

Still looking for a simple tick box to determine whether horizontal totals should be displayed or not. I can control vertical totals in the columns options, but I don't seem to be able to control horizontal totals.
