Fix: Server Timeouts When Copying Table or Copying Application With Data
When copying a large application and choosing the 'Copy Data' option, TeamDesk returns the following error:

> Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. The statement has been terminated.

When copying a large table, Team Desk return the following error:

> Table structure copy succeeded but failed to copy data. The reason is: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. The statement has been terminated.

**To avoid confusion, the copy data function should be fixed or removed.**

A common purpose behind copying an application is to easily make quick safety backups in preparation for changes to structure and/or data. Val even suggested doing this in a phone conversation back in January 2010.

Unfortunately, if you have large amounts of data, the only alternative is using the export function or backup tool.
