Email subscription for entire dashboard
Be able to send views or ENTIRE DASHBOARDS as email subscriptions.
Reason: I have dashboards configured in certain tables that provide a reasonable analisys of what is going on with the data. If i only send a view by subscription information will be short.

I think you should be able to email a dashboard view
Rick Cogley 7/20/2010 7:39:56 PM
Agreed. Much better to be able to send the whole set of data that you can present in a dashboard.

Wow, yes. Great idea.

I have a number of dashboards that are powerful overview reports of specific business situations. I want to email these to my clients. I support this request to email a dashboard as a subscription.

I would ALSO like to PRINT the entire dashboard but am unable to format the content - eg page breaking and truncation on the right margin. See Idea ID 699 raised today.

This functionality would be a great enhancement on current 'View Subscriptions'.
Please consider for implementation.

Hi All,

Has anyone found a workable alternative to this issue yet?
Norm Nguyen 6/4/2014 10:10:20 AM
This would save us a ton of overhead. Please implement this much needed feature.

I think I stumbled onto a way of being able to print the dashboard via a word doc - at least the views table (not sure about charts). The word doc can then be manually emailed or you could set up a workflow rule that auto sends the document to the required address.

If any one is interested.

Thanks basenine, in my application, the users are using mobile devices, and prefer the view/dashboard in their inbox without launching word. This works very well with normal views, but it is crazy sending 6 or 7 emails to inform them of what's happening in the business because I can only send 1 view at a time.

It would really be cool if we could simply subscribe to a dashboard.

this link might help with that?

Nope, I have looked at that as well. Not a solution as some of the recipients of the reports are not system users, I.e. clients/CEO/CFO etc. that just need to monitor execution of certain projects. They must be informed daily on progress. Currently we send them normal views, but as I said, 6 emails at a time.

"no solution for you!"

From the 'Solution Nazi'
(just like the soup nazi from Seinfeld...only results oriented!)

Sending the dashboard as an email is now becoming a massive requirement in order to cut down on email volumes. Please consider.

Some of our clients require KPI reports that span several tables, if a whole dash board based on predefined criteria could be exported, this could save a whole lot of time and effort

Commenting on this topic as it would solve many issues related to emailing individual views. Would love to see this under consideration!

Hi,
I think many of us have this need.
Please Teamdesk, help us make it come true in 2017.
This will be a great functionality and a great differentiator.
