Kirill Bondar 3/14/2007 3:48:55 PM The reason is that user accounts and applications are separate things - it is the concept of TeamDesk.
Application administrators control what accounts can access the application. However, administrators do not control the account settings since it does not belong to the application. It's like a passport - it does belong to you, and use it everywhere.
The user can create an account in TeamDesk having own application. The user can create another appliction. Later on he or she can be invited to use another application of someone else. However the user will use single account to access all of them.
My TeamDesk screen acts like desktop, displaying all applications the user have access to. That is why My TeamDesk link is always displayed on a top right corner of the page - it does not belong to application rather to user account.
