While developing new functionality, you may not want users to see and interact with a new table until you are finished.
Adding the "Deployment Status" property to the table allows you to control when users can see and use it.
* "In Development" status hides it from users except those with the "Administrator" permission, while you are designing and testing it. * "Deployed" status allows all users to use the table.
After deploying a table, you can always change the "Deployment Status" back to "In Development" if you want to make more enhancements to it.
