I have personally used it successfully. https://www.teamdesk.net/help/rest-api/You can export and import CSV data manually, You can even make a special role for a person who only has access to the backend to do these uploads. I have also successfully used email to pass data back and forth from other software to VIP and the other way. But this only works for adding new records, I have not even tried it for updating a record so I am unsure if it would work. As a first step you should name the system you are using, include anything you know about an API it may have. With that information the TEAMDESK BACK-END TEAM (which is not me, I am front end expert) can give you a solid NO or a Maybe. (its impossible to be 100% sure until its tested) Then you can test it yourself if you are an experienced programmer.
