Update Database Variables from actions or triggers
It would be amazing if we can update database variables from actions and triggers. So we can reuse them in different scenarios.

Take for example I need to get a token from a call url for authentication. Then store the new token every hour in the token variable. Then reuse it for various api calls in a table.

as a workaround, you could set up (if not already) and store in the user property table - depending on the use case, you could create a specific user to write to or update all users with the same value.

You can then reference the value in a view or wherever using: User[fieldnamefromuserprefs] rather than Var[fieldnamefromvariables]

I do have it currently on using the current logged in user and its properties. Just thought it would be nice to be able to have one variable to store it. Thank you for the advice.

Yes, this would be good to have. For instance, if we have a periodic total X that we want to compare to data - do action Y based on whether it's under or over.

Yes it would be great if the variables were variables
I think I saw the same request somewhere

Even the ability to update the "variables" with an API call would be nice
