If you have a number of databases being used by different people in different locations or firms and a minor change is required. you could find yourself doing the same change many times to synchronise.
The back and upload tool is a very good way but requires new copies of database to be installed etc etc .
I know that in some instances it could cause problems with data but i think an option to have child copies is vital or may be an update of structure for selected databases.
