View or Dashboard Autorefresh interval
I am using a dashboard view as a control of open issues with my customers.
This dashboad/view ir on a big LCD screen infront of my people.
Open issues are highlighted. Kind of like a CRM.

The problem is there has to be a manual refresh on the explorer to see the new issues.
Could you have an option to se the view to self refresh or update on a give intervarl?

Somewhere i read the code is something like this.
<meta http-equiv=”refresh” content=”10″ />

Well, if it is a dashboard you can have text areas, and, you can set those text areas as HTML, and likely put script tags in. Will something like this work?

Be gentle though. This sort of thing can eat CPU and bandwidth both, affecting server and client side.

Alternatively, if you turn RSS on for that view, you can custom-build an easy-to-read view of the data. The reason I say this is, I have a View showing on a large monitor, and the characters are pretty small. For people reading that screen, it might be better to have a separate page feeding on the RSS, which then displays what you want, how you want, including a legible type size.

Regards,
Rick
