Word document XHTML columns
I have noticed that when I use an XHTML column in a word document it adds a return after the text and the font size is set to 1pt. This causes a few problems. Particularly when downloading the document as a PDF.

I am also using the XHTML field within a table in Word if that makes a difference.

Is there a way around this issue? Any help or tips would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Just to clarify the imgur link above is shows a screen shot of the generated Word doc, which looks alright. And the generated PDF doc that has the spacing all messed up. I am assuming that is from the extra line being added to each cell...

Word's document model is a bit different from HTMLs, it means not every HTML document can be identically represented in Word. As the result, in some cases we have to resort to little hacks like adding 1px empty paragraph. Conversion from Word to PDF only adds to this mess as PDF's document model is different from Word's.

So the more you avoid using HTML in Word the better are results.

For example using Text - Formula with colorization you can get similar results for Alarm field without resorting to XHTML formula hacks.

This is what I suspected. When using the Text-Formula colorization. I'm assuming there is no way for me to change the MERGEFIELD so that I can have the text color be red instead of it highlighting the text?
Thanks for your reply Kirill.
