Allow Text Formulas in Email Alert Subjects
Hello Team

Email alerts are a fantastic way to save administrative time.
We are sending automatic mails to customers, suppliers, tax administration.
The personalization of text and attachments is very efficient.

The only thing we cannot personalize is the subject of the mail.
We would like to put there: project references, invoice numbers, customer references.

Could you allow text formulas in the email alerts ?

It’s possible to put columns in the Subject line

Could you please tell me how to do it ?
When I try to do it the field placeholder is de-activated when the cursor is in the subject line - I assumed Teamdesk would not read field names.

You are right - Team Desk replaces [fieldname] by the content of the field

If I remember correctly, this is one of the few places where it does no prompt you with the correct fieldnames. From experience please remember that the field names are case sensitive. I remember once spending a few hours tracking down a problem only to find I had not put in the field name in the correct case.
