Hi Tina If your table does not allow the search, it will not show the search. in the case of views, the option Ask the user has a checkbox that hides the search.

Nick, you can make a copy of the original view. In the original check the "Allow search for keywords" box, but not in the copy. Then restrict access to each view depending on users' roles.
