I used to be able to set a filter i.e. on the name column and it would give me all the names listed now it just gives me a box to type in?
Strange that it has just changed am i missing something

I think to remember that there is a limit of records displayed in a dropdown for performance reasons. Once your table has grown too large, a search field will be displayed instead of the dropdown.

oh that would make sense and also if it is a user filed in field. got it. was just totally panicked something had gone wrong.
