Sharepoint access via Safari 12.x since update
Has anyone else lost connection to opening documents directly within Safari since the update to 12.x
I'm using OSX High Sierra with Safari 12.0 and there is no warning for "Trust this computer..." when selecting the doc file. It used to open directly in Word and be saveable direct to the server file.

> First and foremost, Apple revealed that Safari 12 blocks support for legacy Safari extensions that come from outside the Safari Extensions Gallery. The Safari Extensions Gallery was originally introduced in 2010 as a one-stop-shop of sorts for extensions. 8 years later, however, Apple is beginning the process of deprecating the platform.

Direct saving to the server was done via browser plugin (ActiveX version for IE, NPAPI everywhere else) from Microsoft. Chrome and Firefox dropped support for NPAPI plugins couple of years ago, Edge has no support for NPAPI and ActiveX either. Safari 12 no longer supports NPAPI either. So, the only browser supporting outdated plugin model is Internet Explorer 11.
