Hide Delete
Hi

In User Interface settings for a table it is possible to Hide Tab, Hide New, Hide Edit, etc.

It would be nice to also be able to Hide Delete.

I know that this can be done at View level, but it would be great to be able to do it at Table level

I did not mean to promote. This is exceptionally simple with CSS.
Check out the HTML/CSS videos.

https://www.teamdesk.net/videos the one on HTML/CSS and then the dbstyles.

The code you want to apply to the selector for the button is.

{display:none}

Hi Cooper

I hear what you are saying, but I would prefer not to get involved with maintain CSS code.

The ethos of Team Desk is "Create your own custom database in a fast and easy way, requiring zero technical knowledge". While I have a lot of DB knowledge and even more TeamDesk knowledge, I have almost no CSS, HTML or JS knowledge, I chose TeamDesk for that reason.

Thanks

This may not suit but Would the manage access to table records at the table level and prohibiting the delete access by role do the job.

Cheers
Dave

Hi David

Interesting the discussion I have started here.

Your suggestion will not do what I need as I still want people to be able to delete, but I need to take control of the DEL Button myself so that I can for example put up my own warning message. This is probably similar to the rationale for hiding the Edit button.

Thanks
