'Ask the user' Null Date Field
Hi
I've come unstuck with some views that 'Ask the user' for a date as there is no option to choose a 'blank' date field?

Or am I missing something?

We use a date field to show the date a record went through a particular process. If I want to view items that have not gone through the process at all (ie the date field will be blank), thats not an option for the user.

I did a quick test on this issue and you are correct there is no way to search for null.

Teamdesk may or may not be able to add this feature. Until that time.. this is a quick and easy alternative way to do the same thing.

Create a new formula checkbox column. - "null-date" put the following formula in it
IsNull([test date]) - of course replace [test date] with the actual date column.

Hide the [null date] column from your views and forms.

Now add the [null date] to the 'ask the user'

Depending on how you are using the filter this may actually be easier for users.
