Allow buttons from one table to "re-direct" to actions in a another table
For example, where I have a parent and a child table sometimes when pressing a Button in the child table, I actually want to take action in the parent table. I can currently make this happen by having formula-URL columns in the child table. The problem is that when I present these in a View, they each take up a column of their own and don't blend nicely into the general "Action" column. When I present it in the form, it is in the middle of the form rather than together with the other buttons.

I have tried using the Call URL functionality of Custom Buttons, but this is clearly designed to Call and get a response and not for the above.

So how about enabling the formula-URL which I already have in the child table to be called from a Custom Button.

I'm looking into this exact thing right now.

And we need the ability to go the other way too, creating child records from the parent form using a custom button: http://teamdesk.crmdesk.com/answer.aspx?aid=23706.

Seems these both belong to improved navigation and integration between parent and child.
