Backup tool filter
Currently the Backup tool dumps all records in the database or selected tables. A database can have multiple clients. In order to give a client his/her data it must be filtered based off their client "key" column from the client table. This is a difficult process to filter after the backup. It becomes extra difficult sorting out their file attachments. It is a tedious process using the view Export button and downloading file attachments one by one.

I propose the ability to export based off a "key" filter, such as client in my case. That way an export can contain a subset of the whole database.

Maybe a new switch can be created to designate the key table and key column value.

I ran tdbackupwin.exe with a User with limited table record access (limited to the User's own company's table records). It performed the backup of their own company and did not backup any other company data that did not belong to them. Of course, this all hinges on having the table record access set up properly. I have not yet tested restoring the "filtered" backup.

I wanted to make sure this was possible, so I could assure clients/companies that their own data could be quickly exported (attachments and all) in case they decide to use another solution.

Backup tool works through the REST API which respects column and table record access rights. This way it won't dump more records than visible via the view that shows "all records" in the table. Just make sure you are hiding the data via record access and not with UI switches such as Hide Tab.
