Electronic Signature Capture
Add ability to capture signature directly on touch device and save result as an image into file attachment column.

If "Signature" selected then on edit form instead of file attachment you'll see a "Sign" button:

By pressing "Sign" button, system will open full screen popup to enter a signature:

After pressing "Save" button, popup will be closed and signature will be placed on the form as an image:

"Withdraw Signature" button will allow you to withdraw it, so signature image will be deleted and "Sign" button will be displayed.

We're looking for a way to do signature capture from mobile devices. There is already a third party vendor that can provide a asp.net web control for doing this on most mobile browsers. If this could be implemented to dump an image into a image column, this would be awesome for us and would prevent us from having to print a document, sign it, scan it, and upload it back into the system for long term record keeping.

The third party vendor is: http://www.supersignature.com/

Grant. Have you considered full electronic signature solutions like DocuSign, EchoSign, RightSignature. My read of supersignature is that it only captures a signature image rather then a full electonic signature. Desmond

Awesaome! We are about to buy several surface pro 3 for our field engineers. This have already an electronic pen integrated. We were thinking of doing some software that would capture the customer signature and send it to the teamdesk service report. This would solve our problem! Thanks!

This is great! I forgot that I had requested this 4 years ago!

Unfortunately we can't use this feature for signatures since all buttons in the interface are in english, but our clients are not english speaking. That is also the reason why we can't allow public access to any part of our application. However, I see a potential in using it as a general sketching tool. That would require an edit button and an option for switching to a white brush (for erasing).

That's a great idea. Leveraging off this feature to sketch while out in the field would've very useful. I have clients that need to sketch a rough site plan to help them provide their customers quotes.
