OLAP Pivot
The pivot table report function lets users quickly analyze data and discover business trends. It would be a nice add on feature in Teamdesk, Business Intelligence is becoming a growing demand in industry

Just a quick question - how does this differ to the Cross Table that is currently available? Is the more flexibility?

The CrossTab view is very similar but the difference in OLAP/Pivot is; a user can create Herierchy at Row Level and Column Level. These values can dynamically be changed by a user creating the group Herierchy in any order. Moreover summarised values (Total) can be placed at the RowLevel; which is ideal for large transactions and more controled view for decision reports, If we are able to expand and collapse Row Level Herierchy.
To get the real flavour of it is the only way that a user can change/create Herierchy by Drag N Drop + Cascading Filter Parameters.

I understand. I tried using the New 'Ask the User' functionality but can see your point. Not sure if you've looked into the New 'Ask the User' functionality but it might offer <i>some</i> benefit
