Tabs and Sidebar to be fixed in position when scrolling
A customer has requested that the top Tabs Bar and Sidebar remain fixed when scrolling down the page.

It's an addition I guess to the current format with long Views (Views with many records) whereby the top 'Grouping' header is fixed when scrolling down the list.
He thinks it will speed up his productivity as he'll be able to see which screen he's in at an instance. I agree with him and think it'll look a lot nicer than the current format.

I also notice that the top Tabs scroll left to right appropriately when the screen is narrow.

Please consider!

With new layout implemented, the top 'service' bar (the area where the users name is and Setup is located) would be so much better if it was always fixed to the top when scrolling. In the example of a dashboard with many different views and multiple records, scrolling all the way back to the top to right click "Setup"-->open in new tab...then scroll back down to the record in question is becoming a nuisance. 😰

The company logo could easily be moved to the "Views" area in the sidebar...or at least have a choice where to put the company logo.
A fixed header would really speed up development

I really need this...It's becoming frustrating when you're working on records down in the page (that are maybe related to the parent record - which could be quite long) and having to scroll back to the top just to open the SETUP in a new tab, scroll back down to the record that you're adjusting/enhancing

And also shift where the SAVE/EDIT/DELETE etc buttons are on the page to a fixed section in the non scrollable part.....

then remove the second set of duplicate buttons that are at the bottom of the form record.
