Coulmn Type
Is there any possibility to add a new column type that hide the characters you write. For example, I am devoloping a Health Information System where doctors have to sign medical records. So, they have to "sign" what they write and the way would be inserting their password (as a column of a table) in a hidden mode. Is it clear?

Thanks so much

This would work well for HR and Compliance-related applications as well but should be combined with logging for an electron trail.

We handle this by controlling viewability, marking a column with a timestamp when action X is done, and using simple checkbox columns or status dropdowns. It is easy to show that the person who should be doing something is doing something.

But it would also be good to have "security by obscurity" since the above types of checks can be spoofed when the person walks away from their terminal while still logged in.

I have also developed a "sign" function and would really like to see a hidden mode functionality as a column type as suggested by Daniel.

Is it hard to implement?
