Relation Interface Usability
As we grow our applications and add a lot of relations, we have noticed a couple things about the relation setup interface, which I think could use some improvement:

* the names of relations are not visible in the list of relations, which is more like a list of SQL-like statements. The name itself seems like an afterthought, almost, though it is visible when you click a column in a table's column list which is a relation lookup. I think it would be good to have the relation names there, in the list of relations, for easier mental association of the relation name with the formula you can see.

* perhaps the name of a relation could be defaulted to something, to allow some consistency in naming.

* it is a little hard to figure out what type of relation you picked, once it is set up - i.e., is this relation a 1:m, m:1 or m:m? A text string indicating that or some symbol, would be good.

* many times I would like to copy a relation, because you can have only one display view per relation. For forms, in which you want a different detail view per role and do that with view permissions, it would help if we could just copy the relation, change the view, copy the relation, change the view.

I hope you will consider improvements here, and thank you for listening.

Regards,
Rick

I think that some of the recent enhancements, such as the multi-reference columns, are doing some of the above, but I would still think having this for the ones we create, would be useful.
