it would be nice to be able to lable a URL with a customized text. that mean, write a text (for example a tracking number) that clicking on it will lead you to a web site.
in the current situation you can only write the same text for all the instances in the table. you cannot customize it or manipulate it with a formula. basically what's missing in a URL field (and Formula - URL also) is a Formula option (and not only a fixed text box) in the "display text" field under URL options.

every text field in the system has that option (formula) except the "display text" field ! in the current situation, i must "waste" a valuable space and add a column for the link instaed of using an existing one !!

I totally agree with Matan. This would be extremely helpful with our confirmation e-mails as well. Right now we have a seperate column that shows this ridiculously long url that our customers can click on to go to our website.
